Parent Volunteer Opportunities

Classroom Support

  • Brown Bag Volunteer: Take home materials (such as laminated sheets, craft supplies, or classroom projects) to cut, assemble, or prepare for teachers. This is a great option for parents who want to help but may not be available during school hours.
  • Room Parent: Serve as a liaison between the teacher and other parents to coordinate classroom needs, such as special events, sign-up sheets, and teacher appreciation efforts.
  • Parent Reader: Visit your child’s classroom to read a book aloud, engaging children in the joy of storytelling. You may bring a favorite book or choose one from the classroom.
  • Parent at the Ready: Help in the classroom by assisting with small group activities, art projects, or practical life work as needed. This role is flexible and can be tailored to your availability.
  • Listen to Readers: Support young readers by listening to them practice reading aloud, offering encouragement and guidance to help build their confidence.
