Ms. Natalie is the kind of person who believes the Montessori Philosophy is not just a teaching style or a pedagogy, but a way of being with people. She considers working with children, teachers and their parents her calling.
Ms. Natalie received a BFA in Theater and Art in 1997 and worked in sewing costumes for stage and screen for 12 years before pivoting to early childhood education. From 2010 to 2023, Ms. Natalie worked directly in childcare, earned her Montessori credentials in 2012, and became a lead guide for the primary class age group (3-6 years). In 2019, Ms. Natalie had the opportunity to present at the AMS National Convention in Washington, D.C. about curriculum she had personally developed.
At our school, you might find Ms. Natalie working at the front desk, helping to train new teachers, or preparing a parent workshop as she enriches our school with her many talents.
In her spare time, Ms. Natalie enjoys hiking, gardening, and sewing. Ms. Natalie is also a professional watercolorist and regularly presents her works at local art markets.
We invite you to visit our school, meet the teachers, and observe the children in their classrooms. We encourage you to ask questions and learn about the opportunities available at all levels of our programs.
