Ms. Lilly

Toddler Guide

Ms. Lilly comes to LakeCreek Montessori with over 20 years of experience in education and a passion for helping children. After attending college at the University of Texas - Pan American, she spent the next 10 years as an elementary school teacher coaching children in physical fitness in McAllen. Her last year in McAllen, Ms. Lilly started working and training with Texas A&M Agrilife Extension specifically in the area of teaching children about nutrition. After moving to Austin, Ms. Lilly continued working with children through Agrilife for another 5 years, then transitioned to a local early childhood education center for 4 years before joining LakeCreek Montessori as an assistant guide. Most recently, Ms. Lilly completed her Montessori educator training and earned certification to be promoted to Lead Casa Guide.

Ms. Lilly loves being around children and especially enjoys watching them grow. For her, there is a special joy in knowing that she was able to be part of their journey of learning. Ms. Lilly loves how Montessori education allows each child to grow at their own pace so that they can reach their full potential.

In her spare time, Ms. Lilly and her husband share a passion for eating good food, which came out of a love for spending time together with her family. Ms. Lilly has 3 adult children and  joyfully celebrated becoming a grandmother in 2023.
