Ms. Jane

Elementary Guide

Ms. Jane was born and raised in Taiwan, where she earned a master's degree in Chinese Literature from National Kaohsiung Normal University and completed her secondary school teachers' education program to became a certified teacher in 1996.

Ms. Jane has 24 years of experience in teaching Mandarin in Taiwan and United States. She taught Chinese at the National Overseas Chinese Experimental High School in Banqiao, New Taipei City, Taiwan from 1996 to 2011. After moving to Texas in 2011, she continued teaching K-12 in Austin ISD and Chinese schools in Austin for many years. She is passionate about teaching Chinese and has amassed expertise in developing curriculum specifically for teaching Chinese. Ms. Jane is an enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who loves working with young children and teens. Ms. Jane said the most pleasing words a student can tell her is "Learning Chinese is so interesting and fun."

Ms. Jane and her family have lived in North Austin for many years and have two beautiful daughters. The family loves to go on road trips during holidays and enjoy exploring US National Parks together as a family.
