Ms. Amane

Ms. Amane holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Secondary Vocational Teaching and Language from Dalian University. Fluent in Chinese, Japanese, and English, she began her career as a primary school teacher before moving to Singapore and later Japan, where she taught languages at the secondary level.

Amane’s passion for language learning and keen observational skills enable her to create relatable, real-world examples that enhance student engagement and language acquisition. Following a decade as Head of Logistics at JGC Petroleum, she returned to education, finding renewed fulfillment in nurturing young learners.

In October 2022, Amane married and relocated to Austin, Texas, where she enthusiastically rejoined the education field as a language teacher at Lake Creek Montessori International School. She is excited to contribute to a culturally diverse learning environment that celebrates language education.

Outside of work, Amane enjoys flower arranging, particularly in the Sogetsu style. She is also an avid cook, hiker, and soccer enthusiast.
